BLAST-OFF Avocado BLT Sandwich Recipe
A traditional BLT sandwich recipe calls for bacon, lettuce and tomato; in this twist the bread is an important feature so we count it in the name! B-Bacon, L-Lettuce, A-Avocado, S-Sprouts T-Tomato, O-Olives, F-Feta, F-Focaccia Bread. Not a fan of one of the ingredients? Vary it up to make your own acronym from BLAT, to BLEAT – just don’t forget the creamy Hass Avocado!

Ingredients:
- 2 slices cooked bacon
- 1 leaf romaine lettuce
- 1/2 ripe, Fresh Hass Avocado, peeled, seeded and sliced
- Sprouts, to taste
- 1/2 ripe roma tomato, sliced thinly
- 1/2 Tbsp. marinated Kalamata olives, pitted
- 1 Tbsp. feta cheese
- 1/2 Tbsp. herbed mayonnaise
- 2 slices thin focaccia bread
Instructions:
- Assemble ingredients on bread. Enjoy!

* Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 5 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
