  • 1 1 1(12-inch) unbaked pizza dough shell
  • 1/2 0.5 0.5Tbsp. TABLESPOON_USVolumeolive oil
  • 1/2 0.5 0.5Tbsp. TABLESPOON_USVolumefinely chopped garlic
  • 1/2 0.5 0.5cup CUP_USVolumefinely chopped red onion
  • 2 2 2ripe, Fresh Hass Avocados, cut into slices
  • 1/2 0.5 0.5cup CUP_USVolumeroasted red bell pepper, coarsely chopped
  • 4 4 4oz. OUNCE_USVolumepeeled rock shrimp (1/2 cup lightly packed)
  • Fresh basil*, shredded
  • 3/4 0.75 0.75cup CUP_USVolumeshredded Gouda cheese
Instructions
  1. Brush pizza dough shell with olive oil; sprinkle with garlic.
  2. Scatter, one at a time, onion, avocado, roasted pepper and shrimp.
  3. Sprinkle with cheese.
  4. *To use dried basil, lightly sprinkle it on the pizza after the cheese, before it goes into the oven.
  5. Bake at 500 degrees F until lightly browned, about 10 minutes.
  6. Lightly sprinkle with fresh basil.
  7. Cut into 8 slices.
*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado, sometimes called a 40 count or 48 count avocado, averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
