  • 2 2 2cups CUP_USVolumediced chicken or turkey
  • 1/4 0.25 0.25cup CUP_USVolumeCalifornia sherry
  • 1 1/2 1.5 1.5cups CUP_USVolumediced celery
  • 1/2 0.5 0.5cup CUP_USVolumeslivered toasted almonds
  • 1 1 1pimiento chopped
  • 1/2 0.5 0.5cup CUP_USVolumereal mayonnaise
  • 2 2 2Tbsp. TABLESPOON_USVolumelemon juice
  • 1 1 1Tbsp. TABLESPOON_USVolumegrated lemon rind
  • 1 1 1tsp. TEASPOON_USVolumeminced onion
  • 1 1 1tsp. TEASPOON_USVolumesalt
  • 1/4 0.25 0.25tsp. TEASPOON_USVolumeblack pepper
  • 3 3 3Fresh California Avocados peeled, cut lengthwise
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 450 Degrees.
  2. Heat the following until very hot.
  3. In a saucepan heat the chicken and sherry.
  4. Add celery, almonds, pimiento and the combined mayonnaise, lemon juice, rind, onion, salt and pepper, blending thoroughly.
  5. Fill avocados.
  6. Place in a pan, bake in very hot oven until lightly browned.
  7. Serve immediately.
  8. Baking time: About 15 minutes.
