Ingredients
  • 2 2 2medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped
  • 1/2 0.5 0.5cup CUP_USVolumegreen onions, sliced
  • 1/4 0.25 0.25cup CUP_USVolumebottled lemon juice
  • 1 1 1medium jalapeņo pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 2 2 2cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 1 1ripe, Hass Avocado from Mexico, peeled and chopped
  • 2 2 2Tbsp. TABLESPOON_USVolumefresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine tomatoes, green onion, lemon juice, jalapeņo pepper, and garlic.
  2. Cover and refrigerate until serving time.
  3. Add avocado and cilantro just before serving.
  4. Serve slightly chilled or at room temperature with grilled chicken.
*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.

I usually add more cilantro but this recipe is great.
